History:

The Calgary Camaro Club was founded in the Spring of 1992 by Wayne & Marlyne Johnson and Helmut Eckert (both driving 1st generation Camaro big-block SS convertibles). They happened to meet at the annual Spring Thaw Show & Shine in Calgary. Due to the efforts of Wayne, Marlyne and Helmut, the club membership had grown to 25 by November of that year with all 3 generations of Camaros being represented. The club has had steady growth ever since and currently has approximately 80 members including several with 5th generation cars. The Calgary Camaro Club is always looking for new members whether they own a Camaro or are just an enthusiast.
