History:

The Calgary Camaro Club was founded in the Spring of 1992 by Wayne & Marlyne Johnson and Helmut Eckert (both driving 1st generation Camaro big-block SS convertibles). They happened to meet at the annual Spring Thaw Show & Shine in Calgary. Due to the efforts of Wayne, Marlyne and Helmut, the club membership had grown to 25 by November of that year with all 3 generations of Camaros being represented. The club has had steady growth ever since and currently has a very diverse membership of all ages, including several with 5th generation cars. The Calgary Camaro Club is always looking for new members whether they own a Camaro or are just an enthusiast.
